Talented artists paint amazing murals

I am very blessed to be able to meet some amazing artists that paint absolute masterpieces on the walls of bass pro shops in Little Rock Arkansas.

On a blank light blue background, the artist start with a flat brown tree base color.

Over the course of the day, they are able to fill in more colors, backgrounds and slowly start to see the big picture.

Countless hours are spent painting spectacular detail that the customer will never see because it is too far away.

That's why these murals almost look like realistic photos because of the amazing artists we have over at bass pro shops in Little Rock Arkansas.

The store is scheduled to open mid November. We cannot wait to see you :-)

Inside Bass Pro Shops Little Rock AR

It is truly amazing to see the inside of a bass pro shop but it is extra special to see a new store being built and watch it come to life.

The hand painted wall murals are absolutely incredible

The amount of time and manpower is staggering.

Styrofoam is shaped and painted to look like rock with pinpoint precision.

Artists painstakingly make Styrofoam and paint into superior works of art.

A soon-to-be masterpiece is started in the fishing section.

The outside is being enhanced with more amazing nature oriented works of art.

Bass pro shops of Little Rock Arkansas should be complete mid to late November 2013.

Inside bass pro shops Little Rock Arkansas 2013

This is a private blog journalizing my employment with bass pro shops. This is not an official bass pro shops blog.  Even though my blog is extremely positive and exciting, my views may not be the views of bass pro shops Corporation and affiliates.

Good morning, my name is Sean Symons and I am very proud to be the camping sections team leader. We will be opening mid November and I sure would love to see all my friends come by and see me.

We have a little over a month to stock our section, build our displays and make sure this will be the most incredible experience you have ever had in your life.

My manager is extremely knowledgeable and incredibly motivating. My team are professional and extremely knowledgeable of all the products and services we offer.

When you come in the store for the first time, I am sure you will be overwhelmed as I was. The attention to detail by all people involved are absolutely stunning.

As you walk in, to the right you will see a spectacular fireplace and a very proud of buck on top.

The entry way "Sportsman's Paradise" is the understatement of the century.

When you look up, you will see a spectacular chandelier.

As you walk in, it is almost overwhelming…

Have you ever been in bass pro shops?

Scheduled to open mid November 2013

This is a private blog and not endorsed by bass pro shops corporations or affiliates.

Good morning, my name is Sean Symons and I am blessed and proud to be one of the first Arkansans hired to set up bass pro shops.

The building is complete but there are a lot of things to do before we open in mid November 2013.

The people that I met already are absolutely amazing people. The managers in charge are positive and motivating people. The team spirit is better than anything I have ever seen in my life :-)

Out of more than 5500 applicants, these 250 people chosen to set up bass pro shop are truly Arkansas's best of the best.

I want to explain what The associates feel like when they come to bass pro shops…

" This is a hobby that i can also call my profession..."
" This is not a job, we are having too much fun for this to be a job."
"I am excited about all the like minded friends I can make being an employee at Bass Pro shops…"

How excited are you? Will you make a trip to see Little Rock's first bass pro shops?

Orientation-day one

My name is Sean Symons and this is a personal blog about my experience being hired on and working at bass pro shops. Even though my blog will be professional and positive in nature, The following does not represent an official bass pro shops blog.

September 30, 2013

We receives are welcome packet and name badges today.  The general manager Will Anderson and his managers introduce themselves to the group. The way they presented themselves was extremely professional yet they all seem to absolutely love their job.

I feel extremely blessed to be able to be working for such an amazing company starting out on the ground level in Arkansas.

The highlights from orientation day one,
Out of 5000 applicants through the job fair, we are considered the best of the best.
Bass pro shops have extremely high standards for customer service.

So what are my expectations of bass pro shops? I expect that all the managers and associates will have a very strong work ethic as I do, enjoy their job as if it is a hobby they get paid for, and take care of the customer as if it was their own family member.

The amazing thing is, it sounds like this is the company's philosophy anyway :-)

So what's to come…?

Three days of classroom training followed by actual store training and set up before grand opening in the middle of November 2013.
